While attending the University of South Carolina, Jackie Humphries discovered her passion for fine arts. In 2007, after four years of studying at USC and also at Florence University of the Arts in Italy, she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art with a concentration in painting. Jackie also earned a minor in psychology with hopes of one day combining these studies into working with children.

Upon graduation from USC, she began taking care of children in the Columbia area. Just as in college where Jackie's love of the fine arts was fostered, her passion for children and working with them began to grow. She found their imagination and constant need for discovery truly inspiring. With this came the idea of Tag It Art. The more Jackie exposed the children she cared for to mediums of art and projects, the more she realized how much the Columbia area needed and would enjoy a children's art studio.

Now, with Tag It Art's doors open, Jackie hopes to provide the children of the Columbia area with a place to come and discover just what lies within their imaginations while learning more about art and the world around them. Through multi-themed classes, open studio time, parties, camps, and much more, we hope to inspire children to create over and over again. Every child is born with imagination and creativity-Tag It Art simply allows them to tap into it and find out just what they are all about.
