2010 Summer
June Camps
*May 30-June 4;
“Ancient Art”
(9:00 am-12:00 pm) (Ages 7-13)
During the camp we will step
back in time to discover just how art was created during the time of cave
people, Egyptians, and more. Campers
will have the experience of creating their own paints and materials from
objects straight from the earth, seeing as there were no art supply stores back
then, as well as be introduced to famous kings and queens and long lost
languages. The week will conclude with a
quick time travel journey to see just where the campers have been throughout
the week.
*June 7 – June 11;
“Van Gogh, Picasso, & Matisse…Oh My!”
(9:00 am-12:00 pm) (Ages 5-10)
Young artist will learn the
styles of these famous artists and all they did in the art world through
interactive games, stories, and of course creating. From painting to paper cutting to pastels
your artist will create with many types of media while gaining an appreciation
for these creators that changed the art world.
The camp will commence with a proper art showing for the campers’
biggest fans to view their masterpieces on Friday.
*June 14 – June 18;
“True ‘Art’ of
Becoming a Princess”
(9:00 am-12:00 pm) (Ages 4-8)
During this week your child will
be able to experience the “art” of becoming a princess. Through designing a castle, creating jewels
and all things shiny, your little one will be well on her way to becoming a
queen. A ‘tea party’ will be held for
all princesses and their admirering court on Friday, with special guest appearances
from a few notable ladies.

Your child will take off on a
high speed journey around the earth.
Through food, stories, and creation your child will learn all about the
many cultures this world holds. A high
speed flight to visit these amazing places will be departing on Friday with
your artist as the flight captains. Get

(A
confirmation call will be given once payment is received.)
(Sorry, but refunds can not be given. Studio credit will be given only if we are
contacted the Friday prior to the Monday your child’s camp begins. This allows someone from our waiting list a
chance to join the camp.)
*We understand that some children may fall with an older
or younger group, depending on grade level etc., than the age group listed with
the individual camps. If you feel this
may be the case for your child, please call us at 803.782.6990 to further
discuss, and we will be happy to accommodate as best possible.
*Camps are limited to 12-15 campers (depending on the age
and theme). We keep our camps small in
order to allow the children a more fulfilling experience and the camper/teacher
ratio low. Our website will be
continuously updated once a camp has been filled. Please call 803.782.6990 if you would like to
be placed on a waiting list for the camp you would like. (There is always a high chance of shifting of
schedules, and space opening up for those on the waiting list.)
*Remember art can be
messy. Please wear clothes that will not
hinder the creative process.
